About This Event
Urology is the medical specialty focused on the urinary system. It includes the kidneys, bladder, ureter, urethra, and male reproductive system.
Common urologic conditions include urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder control issues, and prostate problems, among others.
Join the Friends of South Shore Health and Lori Lerner, MD, Chief of Urology, Associate Chief of Surgery, VA Boston Healthcare System, for a free virtual discussion on a number of urological women's health issues.
While there are commonalities in many conditions for both men and women, there are some distinctly different concerns for each gender — while this session will focus on women, we'll also be holding a similar program for men!
Dr. Lerner will address the signs and symptoms of common problems, as well as the newest and most effective treatments. You'll also have a chance to ask questions!
This session is free and open to the public. It will be held virtually via Zoom, and registration is required.
To register, please contact Barbara Wahlstrom (bwahlstrom [at] southshorehealth.org) or Cathy Moore (cmoore [at] southshorehealth.org).
A Zoom link will be sent to each registrant shortly before the event.
