About This Event

Love, compassion, kindness, empathy — we often say these feelings are heartfelt.

They actually do inspire significant changes in our heart's rhythms and chemistry, as well as in the signals sent to our brains and other organs. The result is greater mental clarity, enhanced performance, and better functioning throughout the body.

Learn how we can access the "wisdom" of our heart and thereby influence how we feel, think, and perform.

For the past 25 years, the HeartMath Institute and multiple other groups have been researching the connection and sharing their findings in leading journals, in additional to trialing their techniques and teaching thousands of people how to apply their approach in their own lives.

Join the Friends of South Shore Health and two local experts from the HeartMath Institute to learn more about this interesting concept.

This program will be lead by two HeartMath coaches: Joan Vitello, PhD, RN, Dean, Graduate School of Nursing at University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Susan J. Caron, BA, RN-BC

This program will be held virtually via Zoom. It is free and open to all who register.
