Writing & Grief: A workshop for grievers
30 Reservoir Park Drive
Rockland, MA 02370
The fog of “Grief Brain” can be a very real thing. It also can leave you with jumbled thoughts.
Engaging in a creative exercise through writing can help to externalize some of what we are feeling and thinking, bring meaning to our chaotic experience, or help us recover some insight about our story. When you create the space to write, you are attending to your grief.
In these workshops, we will explore the value of using expressive writing as a tool to process grief. Each session will propose a topic related to grief, some read examples of prose or poetry, and offer a prompt to help guide your writing. You will have an opportunity to share as you would like to, including what you have already written.
This event is free and open to Hospice of the South Shore families and the community. Refreshments provided.
You may attend one or all sessions as you are able. Pre-registration is required.
