Thanks to all who attended the Pit Crew Prep Session June 8 at 65 Columbian!
Over four intense hours, the Pit Crew Prep session gave front line staff an opportunity to work through the patient emergency experience, step-by-step in the Epic system —from the patient “expect” prep and arrival in the Emergency Department (including processes and workflows such as x-ray, lab, and areas of patient testing and contact), through the admission of the patient into multiple areas, such as Critical Care, Catheter Lab, Maternal Child, and OR/PACU.
Appointment Conversion weekend is coming soon: June 16 through June 18!
We will begin manually entering appointments into Epic starting Friday, June 16 and will continue through the weekend, Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18.
This morning a group of leaders received hands-on training in preparation for the upcoming Appointment Conversion weekend. After a brief overview of the process, our Senior Leadership was able to go in and schedule some appointments!
Volunteers with Cadence training and experience will be working over the weekend transferring appointment data! By the end of the weekend, the data will be in Epic and ready to go, giving us a head start to work out any issues prior to Go-Live and assuring that the transition goes as smoothly as possible for our patients!
