As you embark on this journey, please allow for 20-30 minutes to complete your Team SSHS application. We have a limited number of race entries. Prior to starting, we recommend that you outline your fundraising plan as this is an integral component of your application.
Team runners are selected based on the responses provided in the application and in the phone interview. Each application is reviewed carefully and we select those who we feel will be the best fit for the team. We look for runners who have a strong connection to our mission and who make robust fundraising commitment with a strong plan to meet or exceed their goal. Applications are also evaluated on past race participation, running experience, and past fundraising results.
Once the team is complete, a number of runners will be asked if they would like to be on our waitlist. If a team member withdraws from the team, a waitlisted runner will be invited to join.
